We add to its foundational aims everything related to the value of the principles of education and freedom.

We organized a visit to the Center of sports technology “The Olimpic Ring”in Zarza de Granadilla (Caceres).

To carry out physical activities in nature.
To value the natural environment as a means of recreation and a resource to carry out
physical activity.
Know your possibilities and limitations increasing self-esteem.
Develop personal autonomy

5th Activity (Football) TURKEY

Objective of this activity : To help the students get motivated for school, being a part of a team

Firstly, the class teachers informed the students about the activity and the aims of the activity. They made the teams. (one team from every class including 8 students in each). Then, the students brought the needed tools (the ball and the sports clothes.) on the activity days. Normally, they are not allowed to bring them to school. They were taken play football. We make a league for all teams.  They tried to score the highest points to win. The purpose of this activity was to let the students spend some time with their classmates out of the school. They both experienced working by groups (teams). They are appreciated by their work. This appreciation may improve their motivation to come to school regularly.

The students were really excited to do an activity but out of the school. They were always guided and secured by their class teachers during the activity. Also they were proud of themselves for being chosen for this activity. In addition to this, they were happy because they spent extra time with their teachers. They never complained about after school task.

Objective of this activity : To help the students get motivated for school, feel free and seach the nature


Firstly, the class teachers informed the students about the activity and the aims of the activity. They presented the places to be visited during this activity. Then, the students brought the needed tools (cameras, mobile phones etc.) on the activity day. Normally, they are not allowed to bring them to school. They were taken to the place in a green place full of plants and flowers even in winter to start taking the photos of the nature. They tried to take the best photos during the activity alone and by groups.

THIRD ACTIVITY: Painting your favourite book character

Grade 4th.

Objectives of the activity:

Developing students’ creativity, imagination, observability and concentration. By depicting their favorite book characters, the participants in the activity express their own vision of text and art, enhance their emotional intelligence, build new aesthetic criteria.

Games with book characters.
With photos of different characters we ask questions to know in which book they appear.
We do dramatizations of small story theatres.
We play through mime, without using words to guess selected characters.
-We guess characters: Students are divided into groups, one selects a card with a famous character from a story. You must describe without naming the book that appears.
-We try to improve the students’ knowledge of the different characters in the books.
We work to develop the linguistic competence of the English language through games, theatres and mime.
We try to improve disintegration, social relations and group interaction. We change roles in games.

SECOND ACTIVITY: Reading your favourite book

Number of participants: 25 students from 6th grade

Objective of the activity:

-Increase interest in books and reading English texts.
-Create interactive challenges with reading.
-Encourage cooperation, staging and group discussions.

Materials used :

-Books.
-Book vocabulary.
-Flash cards.
-Theatres.
-Digital blackboard.
-Tape.
-Red class.
-Timer.

Presentation of the activity.
Reading of the story: “little red riding hood”.
Game of uninhibition: It is left by a companion and they will have to recognize who it is on the one that sits with the eyes closed only listening to the tweet tweet.
Game of interaction and cooperation, Beam, review favorite books read by students.
-Everyone has a sticker on the back with the name of a book, must ask questions to the partner to guess the book and once discovered, find another partner with the same book.
Actions, descriptions, objects or places in books are described.
-Group readings of a book chosen by all.

3rd Activity (Playing chess) TURKEY

Objective of this activity : To encourage the students learn how to play this game, to improve their memory, cognitive thinking and concentration using this game, to help the students get socialised by the game.

First, we made a quick questionary to learn which students already knew how to play chess and which ones don’t know how to play it. Second we made two groups with 30 members. Group A was for the beginners and Group B was for the students who know to play. Then, the students competed between each other like the champions league.

The purpose of this activity was encourage them to participate in the activities and fell the benefit of learning. The disadvantaged and shy students had the priority to take part in the games. They experienced the feeling of achievement and success which will support them to be more active during lessons. The most important part of this game was that the game helped the students to learn how to improve their memory, concentration and cognitive thinking.

The students were really excited to do something for the school. Also they were proud of themselves for being chosen for this activity. In addition to this, they were happy because they spend extra time with their teachers. They never complained about after school task. At the end of two weeks they are sorry to finish this activity.

2nd activity (Good Manners Week) TURKEY

Number of participants :     40 girls and 40 boys

Responsible person of this activity : Classroom teachers (Ugur Ozcan and Mehmet Cakır)

Objective of this activity : To encourage the students participate in activities (especially shy ones), to make them feel that they are all members of a group, team or class.

First, not only the responsible teachers but also the other class teachers determined the most popular games among the students at the school. Then we made a programme and groups to play these games. 80 students in 8 group played many popular games in the school garden and they loved these activities.

The purpose of this activity was to make students feel belong to the school and encourage them to participate in the activities. The disadvantaged and shy students had the priority to take part in the games. They experienced the feeling of achievement and success which will support them to be more active during lessons.

There wasn’t any difficulty during the activity. The students were really excited to do something for the school. Also they were proud of themselves for being chosen for this activity. In addition to this, they were happy because they spend extra time with their teachers. They never complained about after school task. At the end of two weeks they are sorry to finish this activity.

Number of participants: Castra Caecilia School students.

The first activity related to our Erasmus plus project we organised a programme on collaborative projects, using as a support resource university students who were doing their internship in the school.

We designed a calendar with the activity to be carried out and disseminated it through the social networks of the school and they were sent a form through google form to register.

An organization was made so that the collaborating interns could attend through the classrooms to help the children do their work.

OBJECTIVES:

-To know the participating partner countries.

-To organize and work activities by teams.

-To promote communication and respect between students.

-Structure the tasks in phases to know how to develop the work.

Provide students with self-evaluation tools.

-Encourage creativity.

DESIGNED ACTIVITIES.

We organized a logo competition for the Erasmus project that represented the member countries; Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey and Spain.

Map of Europe with the geographical location of the participating schools.

Presentations by groups in each of the teams formed, the environment, the city, the country and its customs.

The productions and works carried out were shown in the Erasmus corner located at the entrance of the school. The videos created were displayed on the screens in the hall.

Responsible person of this activity : Classroom teachers (Nihal UZ, Canan KILINÇKAYA, Seviye GÜLER)

Objective of this activity : To make the students feel that they can contribute to beautify their schools.

First the students and the teachers decided the pattern to draw on the wall. Teachers helped students to prepare the templates to facilitate their work. After school, they met in the garden and draw the pattern they decided. The students chose the colours needed. They painted the wall under the supervision of their teachers. They left their hand prints on the wall.

The purpose of this activity was to make students feel belong to the school. They accomplished the task and their task can be seen by the other students and teachers. They are appreciated by their work. This appreciation may improve their motivation to come to school regularly.
